I have to say I don't think I could recommend this to anyone, but I did enjoy it on a certain "I'll hate myself in the morning level."

It was like watching four Jr. High Boys trying to top eachother at telling the dirtiest joke possible until the last one was literally reduced to just shouting "POO POO!!!! POO POO!!!" But yeah Anne Frankenstein was the best of the bunch by a long country mile. It felt like something Mel Brooks would be forced to make in hell.

PoT - Just saw this one last week and recently wrote up my review as well, which pretty much seems to statye that we are one the same page. The Werewolf segment was so annoying with all of the musical numbers, that I was tempted to turn it off. But luckily I hung in there or I would have missed Green and Moore's Frankenstein which left me in tears.

Oh and Deathicon/Deficon was the feces film that we didn't get to see due to the happenings in the wraparound story. It attempted to be overly gross and funny in its own right, but thankfully we are only spared to see a couple minutes of it.

@Emily, I could see maybe enjoying this more if I was watching it with friends. But werebear is just so unbearably awful! Check out Drive-In Horrorshow. A much better flick with a similar type of feel.

I saw this at Rock n Shock, and it definitely benefits from a convention experience. I enjoyed Frankensteinn and the wraparound segments. Didn't care for Wadzills, but I think that's more humor preference than quality (that might have been the technical best if the bunch, but it just wasn't for me).

With Werebear, I really loved the idea of it. I'm not overly versed in beach blanket movies of the 60s, but I think the opening nailed the tone. Problem was it just went on WAY too long.

...and I guess I should point out that I actually went into this one expecting to HATE it, because the trailer made it look really stupid. But somehow I was in the right mood that night and the dumb humor bits worked for me, along with the more clever stuff. And I really did think that DEATHICATION was the most spot-on of the "drive-in" bunch, capturing the sleazy essence of HG Lewis and John Waters all in one (mercifully) brief blast of, well, shit.

Haha - you left out DEATHICATION! my 2nd favorite segment. I enjoyed the movie as a whole, actually. The werebear portion didn't bother me at all, in fact, I rather liked it... But then again, I don't hate musicals. Although I do agree that THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANKENSTEIN was by far the best bit.
