Well it's that time of year again where we writers hem and haw over the most fantastical horror films from the past year.
Check out my recent post over at The Bloodsprayer for my personal list: http://www.bloodsprayer.com/reviews/movies/year-end-list-o-rama/
I was going to post my 'Worst Of' list but why exhaust any additional efforts when I've already covered them more than they actually deserve? If you REALLY want to know, just type in the words 'shit sandwich' into the search bar and enjoy.

enjoyed the list cortizzle...as usual, can't find 3-4 of them on Netflix but i'll keep my eye out. hope you had a good holiday
Hey Bill!
The Darkness Within is being self- distributed. I know its tough for people to take a chance without having seen it but it really is a fine film: http://doorelevenproductions.com/
The same goes for The Taint: http://www.taintmovie.com/
You can stream In Mermorium for the paltry sum of $5 via IndieFlix: http://www.indieflix.com/film/tbd-31680/
Dawning is still awaiting distribution.
The Commune can be found on Netflix.
The honorable mention films are either being self-distributed or still awaiting distribution efforts.
Hope you had a great holiday as well!
Nice list Cortez.
I'm starting to come around to the end of Last Exorcism, not so much because I like it, but I've thought about it and truly can't think of any other way it could have ended.
Still wish we'd gotten to see Cotton's last stand. Wrong time to cheap out!
Thanks Bryce. I'm glad you are coming around to it :)
I can see how that scene is disappointing but I like not knowing and leaving it up to the viewer to decide. What I gathered was that it was too little, too late. That his faith was all a sham and that his actions didn't do anything to deter what was bound to happen.
thanks for the pointers dude...much appreciated! What about Dawning?
The filmmakers of Dawning are still seeking distribution.
I can always count on you, Cortez, to enlighten me on some really kick-ass indie horrors/thrillers. Really great list, man.
What-no Nightmare Alley?
@StrangeKid, thanks my friend. Hope you check some of them out and enjoy them as much as I do.
@Mike, bwahaha! It just missed the cut ;)
